98% Shiraz og 2% Viognier fra gamle vinstokke.
Enorm dybde og intensitet i både farve og næse. Man fornemmer en oversøisk varme, men med kølige nuancer. Viognier´s hvide blomster anes under blomme, sød lakrids og varme grillkul. Olieret mundfyldene frugtsmag. Her er blåbær-, blomme-sødme, perfekt afstemt med syre og alkoholintensitet. Vinen besidder en sådan balance, at man tænker; "Jamen, - naturligvis!"
I eftersmagen pirrer lakridsnoter tungen i det uendelige.
Vinen er naturligvis kraftig, men rank og spændstig som en europæisk Syrah. Her i huset er vi ikke i tvivl, - dette er noget af det bedste vi nogensinde har smagt fra Australien!
