"Vinen er, som man typisk gør langs højresiden af Gironde-floden syd for Bordeaux, stukket sammen af druetyperne Merlot (75%) og Cabernet Sauvignon (25%). Det giver et elegant resultat med frugt, der fylder munden og efterfølges af en behagelig lang eftersmag. Et særdeles godt køb til prisen "
Chateau Laroche´s bygninger stammer fra det syttende og attende århundrede og er beliggende i Côtes de Bordeaux, som er området langs Garonne-flodens højre bred. Nabo-område til Entre-deux-Mers. Jean Merlaut er nuværende ejer. Slottets marker består af flere små plateauer med en undergrund af ler og kalksten, markerne er perfekt drænet og godt eksponeret. Fundamentet for at producere god vin er til stede. Denne vin er produceret på 75% Merlot og 25% Cabernet Sauvignon. Druerne er gæret i ståltanke, og vinen derefter lagret 8 måneder på egetræsfade.
Saftig kompleks og lækker rødvin med blomme, solbær og kærnemælk i næsen. Mørke dybe smagsnuancer, med mundfyldende frugt, der pakker den klassiske Bordeaux tannin fint ind. Et super køb til prisen.
