15 års fadlagring har været med til at skabe denne smukke portvin. Den dufter og smager af valnødder, dadler, brændte figner, honning og abrikos. Den har stadig lidt ungdommelig frugt på tungen, men i duften er det de oxyderede dufte der dominerer. Brug vinen til desserter med praliné, kaffe, mandler eller indslag af karamel/toffee. Har man syltede nødder og en lagret Comté eller Gruyère på køl, så rist et stykke brød gyldent og prøv denne vin til; det skal nok ende lykkeligt.
Serveres i store glas så man får den fulde duftoplevelse.
Efter åbning holder vinen sig omtrentligt 4-6 uger – længst på køl.
