This opens with some delicacy, but it is also remarkably viscous in the mid-palate. It fleshes out, demonstrating some concentration of fruit as well as intense aromatics and a long finish, but, most of all, it is always impeccably well balanced. Supple, yet finishing with some intensity, this covers all the bases. Did I mention that it is quite delicious, too? The price is pretty reasonable for the age and quality."
